I'm going to try to DIY a subwoofer install integrated into my left trunk panel (like one previous member here a few years ago), but I believe the wiring changed since it is a whole new system.

Can anyone track down the diagram for this? I came up with no results.

I imagine some of those speakers - the center channel and a couple on the front doors, probably - may be dual driven (two drives but a single diaphragm) and the auto industry - deceptively - counts those as 2 each for bragging rights. It's getting pretty ridiculous, 14, 17, 19, 21 speakers in a car, really? And despite all those horns, it still sounds like crap.

I didn't look at the attachments too closely (did notice some info is indeed incorrect, such as the stated 1200W Harman Kardon Logic 7 rating... Isn't it 800 and change in the RRS?), but at least the Component Location PDF appears to illustrate the latest (2012+) system: Amp in the trunk, wireless headphones and transmitter, Integrated Audio / Navigation module separated from the touchscreen... That all looks like new stuff compared to MY2010 and 2011s, no?

yes it appears most of the changes are accounted for
the system is 825 watts - do not know where the 1200 comes from
i have been playing with the controls for two weeks now and cannot come even close to the sound performance of my MY2011
same iPod, same music, same 320 kb/s bit rate, same ears (mine)
the system sounds terrible
my guess is they tinkered with the Logic7 programming to account for the 3 "extra" speakers and messed everything up
the staging is way off, the sound pressure noticeably lower, and the mid-ranges are completely absent
i am going to sit in a MY2013 RRS when they arrive to see if any improvements have been made
