Loss of power and total loss of oil 2008 RR TDV8

Hi - RR just died - whilst putting my foot down to overtake that was a thud, loss of power and a plume of grey smoke. I pulled over and the majority of the engine oil came out - just taken away by the AA - not diagnosed as yet - but appreciate any insight, advice - but have a strong suspicion this is going to cost !
The car is a vogue TDV8 - 107,000 miles

Well it sounds like something broke and something leaked. Possibly something broke, then something leaked and then something else broke.

With the complexity of your engine there is no way anyone could venture any kind of educated guess with the total lack of information. Could be a blown turbo line, could be a blown oil filter line, could be you oil plug fell out... the possibilities are pretty much endless.

I have had same problem yesterday put my foot down lost all power was doing 10mph range would hardly move no throttle barley and had engine system fault light came on oil was gushing out of drivers side looks high up the engine as you look under bonnet.
