If you're having an error message regarding the air bag...then only a trained tech should take care of that. Head to the dealer as indicated above or a local independent shop. Airbags are not to be trifled with...don't play with it yourself or you'll injure yourself.

The location is typically under the cable housing that holds the spare tire unless it was built outside of the uk factory then the master reset switch is located inside the heater housing under the bonnet on the passenger side. If that's the problem then you need to unplug the drivers seat wiring roll down the rear door windows then turn ignition on and off 4 times with key fob laying 1-3" above drivers side vent by the window. Once you do that a small beep will come from right rear door speaker. It's very faint so it's best to sit in backseat while cycling ignition and use a stick or something to push the button so you can hear it.

Once it beeps you then have 4 seconds to open passenger door from the inside only and press unlock button and hold for 3-5 seconds but no more than that or the doors may go into auto lock mode. Once that's done try to start vehicle. If still nothing you can try again cause sometimes it takes a few tries.

Good luck

It not unusual, I think most houses in TX are built on slabs and don't have basements.

Not sure about Baton Rouge, but I would guess the same as I think the water table is pretty high there. Perhaps the OP could chime in on this?

Hmm, that's an excellent point. And they seem to be getting more than their fair share there lately.

Perhaps someone away from the coast i.e., SA to Dallas area could chime in on this...is it common to have basements or no basements?

If that's the case, then the Alamo would be unique.

I just had a million dollar idea. Along these areas that can't have basements why not dig subway style tunnels and let them fill up and use submarine trains??? They could be themed for different ocean areas, Red Sea, Great Barrier Reef, the South Pole with an under ice theme and really cold AC cranked up!!!
