Tires: Hankook vs Pirelli

I’m struggling to make a choice between Hankook Ventus ST’s ($167 each) or Pirelli Pzero All Season Plus ($204 each) or Pirelli Pzero Nero AS ($236.50 each) or Pirelli Scorpion Zero Asimmetrico ($254.50 each).

I started out thinking I wanted Pirelli’s (the Scorpion’s specifically) but the Ventus are higher rated and a lot less expensive. I don’t mind paying more for a good tire, but not necessarily if there is a better option for less.

I’m in FL so no snow or ice concerns but I would still prefer an all season tire.

Just replaced my Pirelli Nero Zero’s...crisp performance, it I considered the Hankook’s too before upsizing to 275 45 20 Cooper Zeon LTZ’s...That extra sidewall is a huge comfort upgrade!

That’s a good price on the Hankooks - and they are a decent brand. I was very happy with the scorpions on my sport, but replaced they with Goodyear eagle sports which are also good due to local availability.

Pirelli Scorpion Zeros are the weapon of choice for me. Expensive, yes, but on 275/45/21 they are incredible.

I have had sport pilot AS 3‘s on mine for about 4 months. Best tire I have had on the rover by far. Previously had continentals and pirelli.
