This message came up on my dash yesterday evening just out of the blue on my 2010 RR Sport-LUX??? I haven't changed any tires??? Went and checked the tire pressure immediately and they are all fine. Tried turning the car off and on with no luck. I have parked it over night and will try this morning to start the sport up and then take it for a 15 minute ride to see if it resets??? The only thing I did just prior to it going on was show a buddy how the suspension can be raised and lowered?? Any suggestions other than taking it in to the service department.

A "TPMS fault" message is not related to high or low tire pressure, but rather to the inability of the module to detect signal from more than one wheel sensor (if only one sensor were defective or undetected, the message would read "XX tyre pressure not monitored.") This could be because two or more sensors are defective or missing, the TPMS module itself has developed a fault or, hopefully for you, RF interference near the car is temporarily affecting system reception, in which case the message will cancel and the system will restore shortly after you drive away from the source of interference. Otherwise, I'm afraid a visit to the dealer will be required to pull the DTC that caused the fault message to pop up, and identify if it's the sensors - unlikely - or the monitor / wiring that's faulty.

PS: Check the fuses.

I'm having the same issue. I've had my 2011 RR Sport HSE for 2 months and noticed a very minor trembling of my steering wheel when I drive it on the autobahn at higher speeds. I should have taken it to get serviced as soon as I noticed the issue, but didn't. A few days ago, I noticed the trembling is worse. (I don't drive it very often)...and sure enough the TPMSF error came up on my dash. I checked my tire pressure and had to put a small amount of air in the tires but the trembling didn't stop and the TPMSF warning light came on again when I drove it today. I'll call to make a service appt asap. I hope it's nothing serious and if so, hopefully the warrantly will take care of it....

If you search on here, you will find a TBS that was issued on this problem. The fault (happened to me a few times) comes on and eventually goes away (day or so later in many cases). I took mine in to the dealership after it happened, but they said they have to see the car with the error on...so if / when you experience it, go to the dealership before it clears. I think the bulletin says they are to replace the TPMS in each wheel.
