Has anyone attempted this?

No idea, I went to the website, but there's no pricing on the loom.

The actual touch control pads you can order from the dealers, but the loom is the key to both sides working.

I reached out to the company and asked if it would work with a 2016 L494 and they responded with the following:

Hello!

I expect we will release this adapter next week. But now we have solution only for L494 (2014 – 2015) and L405 from 2013 MY to 2015 MY. But for our confidence - please send us a photo from left steering wheel connector (left audio button).

i don’t have adaptive cruise control so they don’t work but everything else does ( heated steering wheel, phone, volume gesture, etc)

install wasn’t bad at all but I had already had experience in removing my steering wheel from installing the carbon one.

Just remember to disconnect the battery for safety.
