I have my order in and the planned handover is around June 10 or so. Anybody else have a date? I was told my order is in the first batch. Build in March.

LWB, 7 seater, V8 with SV Bespoke Ultra Metallic Paint in Ligurian Black gloss finish, current estimated delivery date 8/19/22.

Build date was originally 5/27/22 but currently says "unslotted." SA is supposed to check on it today and get back to me to see whats going on. He says prob the SV paint delaying it for 3-4 weeks.

loaded with everything but the rear seat entertainment system.

Just changed from SV Bespoke Ultra Metallic Paint in Ligurian Black gloss finish to Santorini black…SA said “They are still holding those colors for the SV trim level only at this point. We don’t have a date for when they will be available for non-sv trim levels as of yet.” So hopefully I'll have an updated build date tomorrow.

I'm so glad I have a car (BMW M760i) to drive now which allows a lot of flexibility of time and waiting requirements - but what a Sh** Show.

First the SV Colors are offered to all customers (on website) for us to order, and then the company pulls them back and says they're reserved only for SV editions and now the V8 engines have problems so the LWB V8s are being unslotted?

Why can't they just get their act together as a company and stop this nonsense? It's all games. Holding for SV editions only - for the few hundred cars (if that) they will sell worldwide in SV format - they're going to aggravate a tremendous amount of Autobiography clients? Their actions tell their autobiography clients their business isn't quite as important as SV clients.

what gets me is the absolute lack of customer service...I never get an update without asking. most of the time its over 24 hours before I get a reply and they make you feel like you are a complete inconvenience when they do finally reply.

We just bought a 2022 Dodge TRX and their customer service puts LR to shame.

Keep it up and I'll be in a 2023 Escalade V.

To be honest, I'm a bit reluctant to ask for updates of any kind. I have a broker who is taking care of the process for me with Jaguar Land Rover Manhattan. They're probably under a lot of pressure as a dealership and must be suffering terribly with the lack of cars in general and now with elevated demand. I'm in the boat where "when it comes in - it comes in". I don't know if they'd appreciate my calling them anyway.

I think I'd be more assertive if I didn't have a vehicle. My 760 Lease is up in December and I am going to purchase the car at least end. My father has an X5 which goes back June 2023. The plan was to give him my 760 and let his X5 go back - and then by that time - I was hoping the Range Rover would be here and this would be my car. Not sure now if that timeline is going to work. If not - I have the Bentley Azure to fall back on (what a car to consider a fall back car).

I don't know of any other car company that can't tell you an estimated time - even if you put your order the day the car was unveiled in England and play this number of games. Right now - these excuses have nothing to do with Covid chips - unless they grind them down and stick em in the SV Paint.

We have a LWB but with P400 engine on order since Feb as well. Just figuring it won't be delv till Q1 '23.

To those bemoaning a company that can't get its sh.t straight, consider this. I've had a deposit with my local Porsche dealer since May '21 for a C4S and been thru 5 allocation cycles and still no luck. That's about their highest volume model but with the insane global demand for P cars and all the s chain stuff, even a company considered at the pinnacle of efficiency, is in a production tailspin.....and that's for a car that's been in production for 4 yrs.....not a brand new launch.

This is the latest from my dealer in CA for a regular SE SWB with a couple of options.
Expecting the car sometime in August, maybe September worst case scenario.

Interesting it shows "built" in the future. Makes me wonder how accurate some of these readouts are.

Ordered V8 LWB with Satin black initially. Here’s what my dealer emailed me last week :

Currently there are constraints on the V8 LWB as well as on the special paint colors. So in order for your car to be ordered in a timely manner, you would not be able to get those items.

You could wait longer (about another year) and stay with your current configuration. Or, you could switch to a standard wheelbase V8 or the LWB V6 7-passenger because those configurations are available. And we can wrap the car to give you the matte look. I’ve done it before and it looks even better than factory paint and it’s easier to maintain.

Please let me know what you’d like to do. Thanks.

No, but I can ask next time I talk to my rep. Last week, I was expecting my usual beginning of the month email with my Vista screenshot,, but instead he called to say it was at the port and going to be put on a truck soon.

FWIW, Vista the first week of June said the build was in progress and handover date was projected to be Aug 19.
