Good evening guys, I have a 1990 RRC 3.9 EFI which has been running well except that it battles to idle and start when warm. I followed the Rough Restos you tube guide on how to install Rovergauge and make a cable (
) and I now have the Rovergauge working and it has shown me so many fault codes see picture...I am pleased to see the Idle air control stepper motor as a fault and will order a new one however there seems to be so many errors maybe the ECU is not well any suggestions on what to do, any help greatly appreciated.

Hi everyone I have made some progress since I posted this. I now know that these are not errors unless they show as red! I have also discovered that the stepper motor error doesn't mean the stepper motor isn't working it could be a symptom of other issues like idle setting and the condition of the other efi components.

Have you set the base idle? It is the number one setting!!! If this is not correct then the stepper motor and ecu will never ever manage to adjust and settle the idle.
And yes, air leaks into the intake, before or after the air flow meter.
Without these things being correct you are p___ing in the wind!
