HOLY S*#T! That thing is awesome. There is a serious amount of TLC in that vehicle. Overfinch does some amazing work.

Now where is my checkbook.............................?
I take it you mean this:

http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/217372.htm

Nice spec, but wrong colour in my opinion. Would look good with some hi-vis police livery and blue flashing lights on the roof though ..... no more traffic delays on the M6 then ...... :)

I saw one of these monsters for sale recently in the autotrader and was very very very tempted, low miles good history and all of the goodies you would expect including a nice set of 22" overfinch rims too but the sensible side of our family put a stop to my dreams.. ah but it would have been fun for a while.

Easy :) Open the site you want to link to in a new browser window. Copy the site's address from the address bar, ie the bit that starts "http://........". Paste the address into your post, eg:

http://rangerovers.net/forum/viewtopic. ... 121#128121

Or, if you really want to show off you can make the link using the "" tags, eg: [url=http://rangerover...rovers.net/forum/viewtopic.php?p=128121#128121]This is a link to the same place

Cheers,
Chrisall.

this is a poor man overfinch RR :( except for the engine  i have seen some amazing options for the interior(in pictures!!) like: Bentley style seats, custom multi media system, custom real burl wood, full leather wrapped Ferrari style dash...etc
this interior looks plain and the exterior looks incomplete :?

man, if i just know how to put that engine in my rover :(

I'm shooting for spring, I've got a bunch of other development on the drawing board too, but this is the one I get the most emails about (and the one I want most personally...) I have a proper engineer (and LS1 fanatic) working on the mechanicals, I"m working on the electricals. once we have a solid plan, we'll find a good candidate "test" p38 (cheap w/ blown engine would be best, anyone?)

The other conversions I've seen use the original GEMS ECU, we don't like that idea, so getting the chevy computer to talk to the BECM will be the tricky part.

We havn't decided between keeping the ZF transmission and going with the proper mating Chevy trans, either will work (and have been done before me) but which is "better" remains to be seen.

Forget GEMS or any other proprietory system, go open source instead - have a look at this:

I've seen that on pistonbroke, TVR section.

for sale or for return? ( no guarantees, so I would prefer to purchase it)
Ah, was willing to be the guinea pig for the project. I guess I'll have to wait for the kit.
