Key doesn’t open the door? What’s wrong with the lock cylinder? If you just meant it doesn’t function as a remote but have not yet tried the car key, pop the cap off next to the handle (where you’d expect a keyhole to be) and it will reveal the cylinder.

If you meant that this option doesn’t work either, we will need to wait for further advice...

No The key go in the hole , i can turn it but won't open the door. I'll call some mehanic who open locked doors .
Oh! So the link between the lock cylinder and the door latch is broken or disconnected? On modern cars I believe the interior handle should have its own mechanism to unlock the door. Now on a 1980’s Oldsmobile, maybe not.

In that case, there is a little side marker light on the front fender that can be popped out. You can then hook a charger to the positive wire, and the negative to a bare bolt elsewhere on the chassis. Allow the battery to charge an hour or so and the FOB should work.

Once you're in, I highly recommend opening up the door to figure out what is wrong with the key lock. These cars eat batteries, so having the key lock is pretty important.
