How to access sideview mirror puddle lights?

I've managed to swap every single bulb on my 2012 Range Rover Sport over to a white LED - except the sideview mirror puddle lamps.

I can't figure out how the covers are supposed to come off and I don't want to force anything and crack the lens. Does anyone know how they should come out?

Mine is a 2011 not a 2012, but the puddle lights in the mirrors came standard as whilte LEDs.... I can't imagine that would be any different on the 2012?!?
