Does your L320 close windows after you lock it in case you forget?

I would like to think right after I bought the vehicle one time I left the passenger window 1/2 open and I believe it locked it self after I walked away.

Is this true?

Do the side mirror fold by them selves? Or do you always have to use the switch provided on the driver side?
Is there a way to make it automatic?

On a 2007 the windows will not close if you lock. Likewise with the mirrors it depends on country spec and or spec level of the vehicle or the options list - some do and some dont - my poverty pack TDV6 does not have auto folding mirrors.

Jdrr23 - do you have GAP? A lot of these kinds of things can be adjusted in GAP (not sure if this exact use case is there).

My 2013 has the option to fold the mirrors when it has been locked, iirc you hold down the two (Left and right) buttons for the mirrors together i think it comes up on the dash if it's possible for your model...not saying that all models do this it depends on the configureation of the vehicle when ordered and trim level. Yes i believe it can also be done wit GAP IID...also depends on year/Model.

Where in the GAP tool do I look for this automatic window up feature? It would be neat. I dated someone who drove a VW Rabbit convertible that used to roll the windows up on lock and I really liked the feature.

Yeah, the 2006-2009 have a rotary selection knob for the left and right mirrors, not the individual buttons that were fitted on 2010+. I have no idea if there is a way to automatically power-fold the mirrors when locking on a pre-facelift L320. I scoured the CCF in SSD for such an option as I wanted it myself, but to no avail. It is not listed as a configurable option in the owner's manual either.

As for automatically rolling up the windows on lock, I haven't found a way. I've tried holding the lock button, no dice.

I’ve only seen 2010+ with automatic power fold mirrors.

With 2005-2009’s if you fold the mirrors in manually they just fold in and back out, done. If you manually fold a 2010-2013’s mirrors in you have to fold them back out then flip them forward a bit to latch the power fold mechanism.

As for remote window roll up/down, again may only be a 2010+ feature. Just like being able to raise and lower the suspension with the remote and the ignition off.

My 2006 4.2 supercharger HSE doesn't have automatic folding mirrors
have the button on the drivers door to do push I did ask a dealer about it folding mirrors and closing windows when locking
thier response was it a feature some modles have added it can be programmed to do but they have to do it
@NoExpert is right that option came standard in 2010 models

Could also be a NAS thing with the windows. Some dumb@ss hits the lock button not aware their $hithead yorkie “Snookums” has his head out the window and next thing LR NAS has a lawsuit over the safety of the vehicle. This is why NAS doesn’t have double locking or locking fuel doors. I think collective Land Rover owners should find these people and sue them for the loss of features in their cars.

No, it reacts purely to "lock door" event from stock remote to fold mirrors and "Accessory ON" event from the ignition to unfold them.
The tricky part was to avoid folding the mirrors when the doors lock automatically when the car starts to move.

Not even CCF, it may be turned on/off in the dashboard display. I prefer my car to lock automatically, though.

I have drive away locking enabled since I come from an area not too far from Los Angeles. Raised in a car jacking rich environment and knowing several victims it’s just habit to lock the doors. So if they lock themselves, all the better. Plus there’s that one sketchy guy that juggles or dresses as Charlie Chaplain around the center. Street performers and carnies are around the same level on my trust-o-meter, which is about the same as just about any government. Of course this is when I find out that guy is actually Wojtek subsidizing his income to pay for Land Rover parts.

When i purchased my first L322 the doors didn't lock when you drove off and i didn't think anymore about that until 12 months down the track when i fitted a new battery and after that every time i drove off the **** doors closed again didn't think about it until i stopped and had to get out and was locked in (as i thought) but little did i know i pulled the door release handle again by accident and it opened ( magic) it meant no more to me until i stopped the L322 a few more times it was then i said to my wife i must stop that from doing that, you know i never did so that's telling me deep down i didn't care about it either....so it was left like it till the day i sold it (L322) and now the new owner has it locking at 10 km an hour when he drives off. 😁 😁......But i'm one off the lucky people that live in a small coastal beach environment of 200 people that know most, so it's very safe you can leave your doors unlocked here and be safe....but not all communities are as great to live in as mine sooo i guess it's your choice whether you have your doors locked on take off or Not!.
PS you can also press the red button in between the AC vents front of dash to quick release the doors too.

i pulled the door release handle again by accident and it opened ( magic)
Any BMW owner would ask you "so people pull the handle just once to open the door from inside???"

that one sketchy guy that juggles or dresses as Charlie Chaplain around the center [...] this is when I find out that guy is actually Wojtek subsidizing his income to pay for Land Rover parts.
Negative, I am the Ronald McDonald living sculpture seen everyday at the venue by the Obornicka roundabout :ROFLMAO:

Ahhh, so that’s you. Maybe I’ll be the Burger King living sculpture and we can have hourly dance competitions.

I remember back when I was much younger and working in a shop a car came in with the auto roll up windows. Only it turned into a pretty big problem when the customer didn’t tell anyone about it and his keys were in the car when we replaced the battery. As soon as both terminals were on the car armed, locked the doors and the windows rolled up. That was my first experience with auto closing windows back in the 90’s. To this day I leave a door open when I connect a battery.

I believe the automatic power folding mirror only works if you have seat memory option on your vehicle. That is how it was in my 06 L322 and with my 05 L319, when I researched that topic, it did say it only works (auto fold when lock), if you have the memory seat option and the L320 is almost the same as the L319 except for the body.

I have memory seats in my 2008 L320, but the mirrors don’t auto-fold on lock and there was no setting in the CCF nor a setting in the Driver Information Center to make them do so.

Yeah i'm thinking same as mine the FL model that has the separate controls...thanks for sorting that out.
So the mirror button can be pushed in for the mirrors to fold but not lock on exit.
