Anyone ever used this brake kit? Seems like a bargain...

Your first link is only for one pair of wheels. The second kit is for all four wheels, so the difference in price is not as much as it seems. I'd stick with the genuine parts unless you can find reliable reviews.

Thanks, yes I realize that. $426.00 (Free Shipping) vs ($661.40 incl. S&H)
Good point about reliable reviews. I'll try to google for those and see if I can come up with anything. Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback, ROV3R. I wonder if it would make sense to purchase the OE brake kit from British Atlantic and have a third party do the install at $150-175 per axle. Problem is, I don't know who I can count on to get the job done right and I get pretty close to the $1000.00 mark. At that price, I might just bite the bullet and go to the LR dealer to have them do it the whole job for around $1200.00

Ugh. Thanks for listening.

What city and state do you live in? I have a highly recommended shop that only works on rovers and their prices are about half of LR. They are really cool people too. They don't treat you like you're an idiot like LR does.

Inland Rovers
Riverside, CA

Wish I didn't know them so well but I have a Range Rover, when I call they know me before even saying my name :(

Thanks ROV3R. I appreciate it but I am just outside of San Francisco. It's good to have a dependable indy shop that can take care of you.
There seem to be some good indy shops here, but I just haven't done enough business with them to know for sure.
But I'm sure it's naive to think that it will definitely get done right at the dealership...

I think I'll put a call into one or two of the local indy shops and get an estimate. Thanks again.
