There is a single screw under a plastic cap on the bottom center of the pedal, undo that pull the pedal assembly off the bracket and disconnect the electrical connector on the console side of the pedal. If you need to remove the mounting bracket there are 3 nuts on the firewall inside the engine compartment under the steering column.
