I have done about 10000km on my p510e and I replaced the wipers a couple of months ago due to streaking in my eye line. After two days of no streaks it started again. Using something like Rain X helps a little but not much. The dealer said it is not normal and will try replacing the wiper arm. Did you experience this before? It is not dirt because cleaning doesnt help. The wiper streaks on the drivers side on the down wipe .

Our 23 was delivered with this issue. Drivers side wiper blade left a small streak. Tried to clean the blade and windshield and never got better. I finally had dealer replace the blade and no issues for a weeks now.

As Rain X wears out, it streaks like hell. Hate the product and stopped using it well over a dozen years ago. Wipe down the windshield with at least 70% Isopropyl alcohol.

Same issue on my 2024, driver side wiper does not clear good at all. It's been like that since delivery but over the summer we did not have much rain but now I really notice it. Need to call the dealer to get it replaced and hopefully it will work better.

From my understanding there aren't any 3rd party blades that are compatible due to how the JLR blades attach to the arm. The JLR OEM blades don't press hard enough against the windshield in my opinion. However, a more annoying issue for me is when I'm trying to clean my windshield of bugs the wiper simply fling off 99% of the wiper fluid and most of the windshield never gets any fluid on it. See where I've complained. This is especially bad at highway speeds because the blades move faster. It's not purely a blade issue because with sufficient rainfall the blades can clean the windshield, otherwise they simply smear all bugs and leave streaks, which is worse than if the bugs were never touched in the first place.

The wiper blade has the jets built into it. You could, if they were available in the USA, just replace the rubber part that slides into the cartridge.

however, the entire wiper blade is $40-$50 so not worth the hassle. I’m buying one from the dealer tonight and hopefully that resolves the issue for at least a year.

I had the dealer put new blades on my within about 4 months of having taken delivery of it; they didn't help, and I didn't expect them to because, as I mentioned already, the ineffective cleaning issue is not purely due to the blades. As far as cleaning the windshield is concerned, because the jets are on the wiper instead of stationary on the hood (and because there isn't enough of a delay between spraying and moving the blades) the fluid simply doesn't ever touch the majority of the glass. And I do see what could maybe be considered a streak on the driver side, immediately in the field of vision, so I'll have to continue following this thread to see what the resolution for that will be.

I just put a new OEM drivers side blade on and everything works fine including the windshield cleaning. Will see how long it lasts.....

To change them, start the engine, then you take your foot off the brake, press the stop button, then you hold down the wiper stalk for 2 seconds and while holding it down, press the start button again. The wipers go to the service position making it easy to change.

What ceramisc, etc are you using on the windshield. I gave up on that stuff (Rain X) years ago because it was great when new, but it was lousy on a long trip as it started to fail. Some of theose Ceramic car washes , I suspect would also do the same thus I avoid them. Would streak like hell.. Definitely NOT wiper arms. I suspect it is the glass surface and something it it is or had been treated with. Try a proper glass polish to remove impurities.
