Closest I could get to a sunny day colors. It has excessive red now, but you can still see green cast on everything black. Original picture colors were spoiled by some kind of green filter. It's definitely some shade of grey, most likely Carpathian, as the sun is very bright here.
I’ve had 3 Santorini black. My next one is gonna be either Belgravia Green, Charente or Carpathian grey. All great colors in the sunlight and when clean—on cloudy days those colors can seem dull and dirty if car isn’t very clean.
It’s Charente. Only charente has this slightly difference to the shadow trim.
Eiger has more contrast to the trim and carparhian less contrast.
Anyway, this picture doesn’t give the right impression of what it looks in real.
I had over the past, Carpathian, Silicone Silver, Eiger Grey and now Charente, so I am used to it. But this particular one picture does make it hard to tell.
My theory is the true color of the paint is on the top left corner of the truck lid under the rear glass and (where it’s lightest in the photo) it’s not reflecting on any of the brownish tone surroundings in the rest of the photo. Even the tires and the asphalt have a brown hue to them compared to other photos posted.
Great photo and love the pic the color game!
Love the through investigation! I also didn’t see that there’s 2 photos and the second one with woman’s back surely looks like Charente. Best wishes all!
Not Charente - have seen that in person and has a brown tint to it. Ether Carpathian or Eiger.
