Im new to owning a Range Rover and I am at a loss. I’ve been avoiding going to a Jaguar/Land Rover dealership to get my car checked because the closest one is 2 hours away and it’s insanely expensive for them to just look at it. I’ve had a slew of problems since buying the car that aren’t really relevant but they have been fixed by independent shops. My car has had the TMPS system fault warning on since I bought it. I had the codes read with nothing popping up and a different shop tested the sensors and said they were all fine and it’s possibly a module. When I asked about the module at the Land Rover dealer they said it was in the central junction box that would be $2k to replace.. that was just the price of the part so add labor to that! It’s not a deal breaker to have the light on all the time but it is annoying and if there’s a way to get the light off or any ideas about what could possibly be wrong I would appreciate any guidance! I’m not super mechanically inclined but I grew up with a mechanic dad and my husband can do simple fixes so I might be able to figure something out with some help! TIA!!

edit to add I have a 2013 Range Rover Sport HSE Lux and I’m located in Illinois about 30 minutes from the Quad City metro area!

hey i havnt had to replace tpms sensors on my 2019 RRS but in past exp with MBZ -i would order an OEM tpms ebaysearch: tpms land rover// and install, i ordered aftermarket for my MBZ and although tested fine the frequency they were on didnt talk to onboard module-so ended up going with OEM used/rebuilt off ebay $45-75 package of 4-- dont trust those knuckleheads at tireshops - just bring TPMS sensors them into tire shop and have them all installed.
I will definitely be trying this! I’ve been searching high and low online for any insight and it’s like no one will my make and year has any problems other than me lol.

Hello Gang,
I have a 2016 Range Rover Sport Autobiography, I had new OEM sensors installed at Discount Tire, but my light is still on for over 1000 miles now, I bought a module from ebay, does anyone know where this module is located, I asked the dealer, they said it could be in different locations. I found that odd, no straight answer. Can anyone help me with this? Thank you in advance.

Yes get OEM version then don’t be surprised if it takes a few days to stop seeing occasional errors. I had two tires put in at the dealer and rotated. Took 1.5 days and almost a thousand miles for the car to remain error free. I was on a road trip so it may actually just be associated with the number of engine stops and starts vs time and miles.
