Hi Guys

Your views/opinions please.
When topping up my washer fluid I noticed some red substance/crystalized behind the engine. I suspect it to be a small coolant leakage that over time "closed" itself. As I am not losing any coolant and nothing is leaking under the car.
Think it might be the cabin heater connection. As the coolant run through this heater after it comes out of the engine.
Please see below picture and let me know what you think it is and if I need to worry..

Most likely the rear heater manifold is leaking from a small crack.

When it fails completely, and it will do so under full load, all your coolant will get dumped and your engine will cook.

I would not be driving until I got that fixed, a new engine will cost you $$$!

Small Update.
Had the heater manifold replaced here in Dubai by my local LR/RR specialist, Euro Experts. They did a great job and the bill was a pleasant surprise at only $300. Was due to the fact that the super charger did not need to be removed as I have a V6..
I have to say that I am pretty disgusted about the manifold quality for it to fail after only 45k km. The bottom and top halves are glued together by the looks of it. The seam parted under the system pressure I assume and started small leak.

Indeed no charger removal required for the V6, only for the V8 due to the lack of space.
The most common coolant pipe that fails is the one in front of the engine under the charger, there are aluminum after market upgrades for that one. Mine was the one at the back, i.e heater manifold. This is more rare I understand. No upgraded versions for that one to my knowledge. It was replaced with an original part (looked the same).
