I have seen several US youtube videos (must be '22.5) but I am hoping that the '23 US deliveries will have the amber sequential horizontal lights in tailgate not integrated in vertical brake lights. If not I will certainly inquire how to retrofit my truck accordingly because I really like the way that looks.....

I am assuming that LR will not re-tool their assembly line from European to US builds just to delete/change certain features. I am guessing that the tailgate in my incoming '23 will be able to accept the European lights (which I will try and source) at a later date.....anybody have any input?

What does the “Read” in the thread title mean?

Update from recent dealer training in Las Vegas on cool horizontals European blinkers

Everyone I spoke with was certain that the vehicles intended for the North American market cannot be retrofit to that style blinker/hazard unfortunately. That black strip along the tailgate is a black trim piece, not a light/lamp housing. It is also not wired to that part of the vehicle.
Apparently in North America, any hazard or turn signal lights need to be a part of the body of the vehicle, they cannot be part of the tailgate hatch in North America.

blinkers in the tail gate look very cheesy to me personally. They don't fit or flow what so ever. Looks like they did a "oops we forgot signals....where can we stick em now?" my .02

Are the turn signals amber or red on NAS vehicles?

I’ve never understood why vehicles in the USA still use red turn signals while the rest of the world uses amber.

Has anyone purchased the EU spec tailgate strip and installed it on a North American Spec Range Rover? I am in the UK this week and tempted to buy the part in hopes of finding a wiring harness connection in my 2024 L460

I researched this topic and found that the US market Range Rovers were not wired to accept the black trim piece with the cool integrated amber cascading blinkers. I also discovered that although the trucks computer can be programmed to allow it the truck does not have the necessary wiring to accommodate but can be added by experienced mechanic…..that’s when I threw in the white flag.
Hope this helps
