I had an Audi Etron for 3 years prior to buying my first RR. For my usage pattern and based on where I live, the Audi was useful only for in-town driving. I put in 15000 miles in 3 years on that Audi, I have driven almost 10,000 miles in 5 months with the RR. I also manage to do almost all my in-town driving purely on electric (at a measurably lower energy efficiency than my prior EV).
I would buy the RR EV (or any other, for that matter) when ALL of the following conditions are fulfilled
1) I am able to go 350 miles at highway speeds in cold weather before I need to refuel (note the qualifiers of speed, temperature)
2) I am able to refuel without deviating from my route, and when I stop for lunch or coffee where at a place of my choosing (not where my nav directs me to charge my car)
3) I am able to drive up to a charger, and not have to wait. I'm able to initiate the charge session by simply tapping my card on the charger. The charger works without drama and fills up my car to 100% in 10 minutes or less.
Layman's terms: every gas pump is 3-4 times more effective at transferring energy than the fastest EV chargers available today. There are a zillion gas pumps all over the country, many in remote spots. I would like EVs to be pervasive, but it's a long way from there.
If I was only driving within a 100 mile distance of where I stay, I would have kept my EV.
