No, the eSIM is just working fine, as I described above. I can use it as a hotspot for my phone without a problem. But the car uses the eSIM onboard to make the connection to native apps like weather, alexa and Spotify. So if that's not available, the car has some kind of problem using the eSIM connection. I had it a few times that weather was not available (the rest I dont use), usually for an hour and the iPhone app still worked. It's new for me now that the car is not connected to the cloud so that all iPhone app features such as it's pre-conditioner / auxiliary heating, Secure Tracker, etc. are not available anymore.
And yes, every other day I have a problem with CarPlay also. But the phone's connection should not have anything to do with the car's ability to connect its own apps to the internet, because that's not passing through the phone unless you give the car a hotspot with your phone. 401 btw should be a no permission error.

Definitely down, I lost Spotify and Amazon apps and weather connection. Just tried it today. They are definitely connected to my account on the Pivi website.

I got an APP update notice this AM. It installed and the Weather app is now working fine. Spotify is still a no go. I unlinked it in the Pivi website account and will re-link it later today to see if it works.

Update for anyone still having issues. I got an onscreen notice that my Pivi account was logged out automatically because of some kind of security issues on the LR side and that I had to re-log in to my account on the car screen. Once I did that all the live apps were back and running fine. Spotify, Amazon Alexa etc.

I have the same issue on my 2025 Range Rover SE. Alexa and weather apps worked when I took delivery and then stopped 2 days later. It randomly connected around 3 days later and stopped that same day. I have an Android phone, but I'm not sure this has anything to do with the issue at hand. Today marks the 7th day the dealship has had it with no progress. Super frustrating!!!

This has continued to happen with mine, intermittently, since November. Sometimes the weather app works fine, sometimes I get the 401 "Unable to Connect" error message. I don't seem to have any problems with Carplay.

I have been watching this thread and have tried to find the weather App, is this app pre installed or downloaded?
I have tried looking for guidance with a google search but don’t seem to be able to get to an answer, so any help would be appreciated

I have lost Amazon Alexa /Weather completely after first 8 months of absolutely trouble free operation. I have tried everything, and I mean everything multiple times! LOL including today deleting and reinstalling In Control from web. I have all latest updates including multiple live app updates from this last week. Hard and soft resets of Pivi and factory resets. No luck, All else operates well. Apple Car Play and Amazon Music through IOS and special mention to my V8 mild hybrid beast that has always been good but truly came alive after 6k miles!!!!

same problem popped up an mine here in China. No signal shown. restart pivi and came back. two days later off again but came back on its own after 15 mins. big pain as real time traffic also not available.
hope a ota software fix. dont want to waste a day at dealer.

I think the Alexa, Weather & Spotify all have the same issue of connection failure. The dealer just called me and asked if I would stop back in as LR told them to unplug a module and replug it in. Sounds pretty basic to me, but I'll post once I have them try it.
