Got 4.3.1 today, installing now.

Will report if it will give me some trouble or some improvements.

 

Mine got pushed yesterday (MY25 550e). Installation was smooth. I don't see any different behavior except that proximity based unlocking of the tailgate did not work today, don't know if that's related to this update.

Installed smooth, no differences noticed so far, audio settings did not reset, Carplay did not disappear.

 

Installed 4.3.1 last week and got prompt today for 4.3.3. I assume there must be a serious bug in 4.3.1 and therefore they push 4.3.3 so quickly after 4.3.1. Probably we will never know what that bug was 😎 I installed 4.3.3 today but haven't driven the car yet. With 4.3.1 i noticed especially faster (re)connection with Spotify.

 

I think serious bug was rather in 4.3.2

 

Probably as well but I assume that version didn't make it to production. I'm a ICT consultant and this touches my core business - I know how the game is played.

 

Why would they still offer to install 4.3.1 if it has serious bug?

We have an example of 4.3.0_ they stopped installing once they discovered something.

 

It seems my navigation maps disappeared after the latest update to 4.3.3. Anyone else has the same issue? Reboot of the console didn't solve the issue. When selecting the navigation, it requests to insert the USB with the required maps.

 

Dang, and I'm still waiting for 4.3.3.

 

I just received 4.3.1a this morning and it states it is specific to MY’24 V8s

 

My car is about 3 months old and still shows no software version; I guess it hasn’t had any updates yet Which is quite frustrating. I guess this is down to being in an underground car park without any signals all night, but it is outside and receiving mobile signal all day at work.

 

Why is it frustrating if everything works?

Every update is a potential danger. Your car is 3 months old, what new tech do you expect to get with updates?

 

The signature audio is disappointing frankly. The update appears to address audio

I don't think it's something major.

GIve it some time with audio. It gradually gets better with time. A year or so of using it loud (37-41). Still not nearly comparable with top Meridian on L405. Unfortunately.

 

Honestly I still cannot identify the active noise cancelling, and I have a fair few sets of headphones that do it so I know what it ‘sounds’ like. If I later found out they forgot to install it in my car I wouldn’t at all be surprised ;-)

Re: the audio, it has actually improved slightly as the speakers loosen up. Am wondering whether additional professionally installed soundproofing in the doors / boot might sharpen things up a bit. I’m reluctant to start swapping out components since it’s a lease that’ll be going back.

 

Installed 4.3.1 today - after holding off a bit. There appears to be an obvious installation failure. The software update now says the cars software is 4.2.1, and up to date. No sign of 4.3.1, no messages, nothing. I DO HAVE a check engine light now - which I have not had before since owning the car. 2024 SV.

No Idea about the check engine light, but I had to try twice on my 2024 ATB, the second time after ensuring that the vehicle was connected to my home network
After my first failure the update still showed as available.

 

Anyone else with the 4.3.3 version already? Bizar some regions are still on 4.2.1. Anybody knows what the parameters are in the roll-out?

 

Well I have just received a notification that 4.3.1a is available for my P530 Range Rover ATB

kinda crazy that I am still on 4.2.1 with my Range Rover Sport SV Edition 1

Seems there is nor rhyme or reason for this
