Seems to indicate that 4.2.0B is the latest with 4.2.1 upcoming followed by 4.3.

 

For those with an iPhone in the US, I noticed a new OS was released yesterday. Has anyone who downloaded the new iPhone OS noticed any difference in the interaction with the PIVI

 

I have the latest 18.4.1 so far no issues with the Pivi interactions. I did notice WAZE map now will show in the dash when maps is the dash interface. Still on 4.2.1 for PIVI.

 

4.3.1 is out (at least for the Defenders), anyone seen it yet?

BTW about a week ago, after my car losing the phone and some connectivity resets, then doors not opening from the buttons on door handles (again), I was magically able to enter into my account from PIVI. Version is still 4.3.0_

If you don't have cellular service, try adding your home wifi through the connectivity options. Let it sit overnight, it should give a notification in the morning for a pending update.

I received a notification for this update about a week ago. I ran it over night. The cameras look way better a night. Funny thing though my CarPlay stopped working. In order to fix it, I had to do a network reset on my iPhone. Removing it from the Device list on the Range Rover and removing the Range Rover from my phone did not fix the issue. nor did putting the phone in airplane mode then off to have it reconnect to the Range Rover. Just an FYI.

 

I have 4.3.0 since March 2025 and mine did this same thing even after removing it and deleting and readding it. Then I came back the next day and everything connected.

 

I did have the Carplay issue with 4.3.1, but removing the phone from the car and re-adding as a new device worked after switching the car off and on again. All now back to usual.

 

4.3.1 Just got installed on my wife's 2025 Discovery but still noting on my 2024 RR.

 

How do I check to see what version I have? I have not received a notification about an update, but I have only had the car for 2 weeks.

 

My LWB truck delivered last week merely indicates current version in words and does not show the numerical version information that I can find.

I have this same issue on a recently delivered RRS.

 

The vehicle will eventually show the software revision. Depending on when you took delivery. You’ll currently have the previously released software. 4.3.1 will come out to the appropriate vehicles when needed.

 

Received 4.3.1. last night. Installed without problems.

 

Same with me; received 4.3.1. one week ago -no problem what so ever.

Received 4.3.1 last night - installed this morning, uneventful as well. All good so far, apps all working, car play, Alexa-etc. no need for any reconnection. Will keep the group updated. USA GA.

 

Received 4.3.1 yesterday on my P550e. Installed without problems. I’d swear it tightened the steering in comfort mode, like I have the settings for sport mode. (in a good way)

 

same here....got update notice, locked velar for 30 minutes and all seems to have downloaded fine. We'll see if this update will keep me signed in to alexa! Seems I also have to sign in to use it (her?).

Just did this full update in the past week. I say full, as it updated to the new OS then asked for another update after that was done. Anyway, I think the updates are the most significant. The biggest for me is that the car actually gets cold with the AC on. We live in Texas where days can be over 100, at times it hasn't been safe for my 2yr old. Not only does the car get cold quickly, I no longer have to set it to 60 degrees. At 70 I found my self turning up the temp a few minutes after being on the road.

Also agree that the steering feels tighter. The stereo finally sounds like a premium system. We've had multiple deals for various cars to get rid of our Autobiography, each time something came up and we didn't move forward. With these updates, we think we'll be keeping the car for a while. I really can't believe the changes to the driving of the car. Maybe it's all a placebo, but I never thought the car would improve like this.

is your ATB a V8 or the PHEV? What color outside and inside? interested about the HVAC performance.

Glad to hear that it's performing better though and that your family can safely ride in it.

 

My Range Rover did the 4.3.1 update last night after we got home for the evening (this vehicle was delivered new to us 28 July 2025 without showing any version enumeration until this update).

 

Suprisingly- I can also report seemingly improved handling and stereo performance. My truck was already top notch all around, appears even more so now after 4.3.1! HAHA.. Good stuff.

 

I just installed the update finally after a few failed attempts. So far I noticed the driver navigation display takes longer to load and the TPMS icon was flashing yellow and it showed no tire pressure. Thankfully it went away after I checked the tires to confirm they had air and started driving. I did notice that acceleration seems to be better on the p400 And the 3D meridian sound system seems a little better.

 

installed on Saturday and apple car play seems to be connecting better. I had not noticed "tighter" steering but did feel the 4 wheel steering more pronounced when I changed lanes at a stop light and moved over to the next lane because it was more open. I will see if I notice a stereo difference.

 

I did 4.3.1 less than a week ago. Today i was prompted for 4.3.3. Just did it. Haven’t driven yet.
