Not here yet-SE USA. The audio amplifier update sounds intriguing. The truck runs so well now these module updates make me nervous.

 

I’m excited to have some of the modules updated. And the inline traffic info. You’re right, overall, things are going pretty well for the ICE, the v8’s in particular seem to have the early bugs worked out. I’m happy to see that they’re really constantly driving product improvements. Curious about what the security update is.

 

Oh! And the last update brought a fix to the degraded hvac performance due to needing to cool the mhev battery. These are some really substantial and core product improvements. Very happy to see these

4.3.0 is slowly being released in the USA. I’ve already seen the update in some Defenders and L460’s

 

Some interesting changes however I really hope that someone starts thinking about the inbuilt navigation app which I would like to use just because of the HUD turn notifications
I have been using google maps but in car play the instrument cluster map is Apple Maps that struggles to keep up with the vehicle position
So yesterday I did comparison of the in built navigation app Google Maps, Apple Maps & the Here We Go app on the way for a service
I was really disappointed with some of the routing choices that made no sense when looking at the map, that is go straight on when a right turn is shorter & then a little further suggesting a left turn when straight is still the shortest route, which was the suggested route by both Apple & Google Maps
It seems to have the same routing algorithm as the Here We Go app

I also hope that this update doesn’t set the collision avoidance system speed limit change notifications, which caused 3 months on notification overload misery before I figured it out the issue

I did the update this morning. Only i noticed was my Tire Pressure Monitoring system isnt loading up right away. Uh. And Alexa is still now requiring sim card update. Im not updating at $500. 1 year old P530 here in Houston

 

 

Oh. And also had to re sign in to my control on the screen

 

I’m waiting for the update that will allow what ever mapping your using on the center dash screen to show in the IP.

My '24 P530 is running 4.2.1 and showed no update available when I checked this morning. Located in USA.

 

Mines the same. Annoying you can't force it.

 

Got my 4.3 update today.

 

Let us know how it runs. Hopefully the improvements are solid and stable.

 

Will see tomorrow morning. If it still runs - that will already be great news. ))

One change I already noticed after update (I've put the charging cable it then checked if car is bricked after update or alive, so pushed start-stop to turn multimedia menu on): "disconnect charging cable before driving" message now also have a picture of the car rear end (Batumi gold, like in a new app OF COURSE 🤣) and therefore is way more visible. Will see tomorrow what else changed.

 

Still waiting to see the update on mine. SE PA, nothing yet. I still don't get how in the LR, images on displays we can change it to our actual color, it's always gold. They have a color pallet of like 5 colors with a few shade differences. LOL! You think it cold be a setting option. Sorry, I work in graphics so I notice this stuff.

 

Well, I can not login to my account in PIVI anymore. It logged me out after update and doesn't let me back in. Tried several times - it says "Unable to connect".

 

I had the same issue after the update. Turned out the connectivity needed to be reset.

Under settings - connectivity just toggle the vehicle SIM option on and off. It pops up with an Accept screen and then I was able to log in.

 

Is the general consensus not to upgrade to 4.3 given the issues people having?

 

Maybe it's just me. 🤷‍♂️

I'm also not sure this log in to account is even needed. My remote app seems to be working. I have no idea what this "logged in" status in Pivi really gives. If it's just different sets of settings for different users - I could not care less. I never needed more users than just me in all of my cars ever anyway.

 

If your InControl account is active via the phone app or computer. You do not need to log into the InControl via the Pivi system. This is used for activating for new users. It’s supposed to be a simpler way. However it causes more issues. Only spot you should be logged into is the account at the top of the Settings menu.
press the gear in the lower right corner of the screen. Press ALL. Account will be the first setting above connectivity. Log into the PIVI system this way.

Are you able to connect with your JLR account from PIVI? Did it log you off after update or did not?

 

Anyone else still not get this update? Still nothing on my SEV8 as of 4//16.

I think they stopped distributing it. I really regret I installed it and I'm waiting for next update to fix this disaster.

 

What problems are you having after the update?

 

Thanks for your information, it’s still not available on mine in Portugal, I mentioned this to the dealer, he stated the service centre could force the update but maybe best to wait for the next version if customers are experiencing so many issues!

 

Not being able to log in to my account from car and also from web, plus some reduced remote operation functionality. Plus app randomly shows I have open windows while windows are closed. A lot of different minor issues.

 

I don’t have 4.3 yet on either my Range Rover or Range Rover Sport, but I am seeing weird things with the Updated Remote App such as open windows & vehicle unlocked even when I can see that neither condition is true
I also have to log in every couple of weeks, rather than the supposed 90 day log in period
The Apple IOS 18.4.x & IOS 18.5(beta2) also don’t address my Apple AirPlay disconnects

 

Anyway I suggest to skip 4.3.0_ update if you can.
