Whereabouts can you locate Alexa on PIVI?
Lower left hit the 4 squares that bring up the APPs. Scroll down and you will see the Amazon Alexa Icon. Best thing to do is go to your PIVI account on the website and under that you can link Amazon and Spotify there, it will ask for your login and password for each. Once you do and you are logged in to the Pivi account in the RR it will work just like Alexa in your house. Hit the talk button and ask Alexa whatever.

I had initially configured the long-press on the diamond button on the left side of the steering wheel, to invoke Alexa. I realized later that I did not even need to do that. Just say "Alexa", and I see the blue bar on the top of the center screen, and ask away.

I am sure there is a setting in there for "always listen..." for Alexa. Have not bothered to go find where that is configured.

I have noticed since the upgrade that my pre-heating of the cabin no linger is effective. Pre upgrade the cabin ore heating was amazing making the car warm when I entered. Now each morning the pre heating activates for thirty minutes as planned but it is not warm when I get in. It also seems to take a long time for the car to get warm when I turn it on properly. I am
hoping that when the battery recalibrates and the ev mode is running smoothly again that this will resolve itself. Does anyone else notice this?

Noticed exactly this same this morning and yesterday post update. Plus during driving climate is noisier than previously/air flow higher/can't be reduced with vent settings. Think the update might have thrown a spanner in the works for the climate software. Rest of the update (sound system, subtle handling tweaks) is excellent

It seems like steering wheel heating changed to less aggressive with latest update. It's not heating to unpleasantly hot level any more, at least I have this initial impression. Time will show.
False. It stayed the same. Heating too slowly than getting much hotter then needed. Tolerable but not perfect.

any update on the heating. I cycled
my battery by draining it and recharging it and also had to do a 4 hr drive but it hasnt made a difference.

I had the same problem 2 months ago and thought it had to do with the software update, but at the dealer they told me that the ‘matrix’ of the electric heater had to be replaced. After replacement everything works again. My car always started in hybrid mode with ICE running + was cold after preconditioning.

My car was starting with ICE for the whole day today and also was blowing cold air while preconditioning. I hope it's not some broken "matrix", but something temporary :/

Freaking hate it. Why all Porsches and Mercedeses I have in my household are always working the way they should, without these software upgrade glitches?! 👿

Yeah it sucks that this happens in the middle of winter. I spent last night looking at Bentayga reviews but I know when the time comes I will just buy a new range 🤣

Ever since the software update the EV doesnt work normally but the update said it would shorten the time that that the EV mode doesnt work properly. It seems to have extended it!

However the update
seemed to have sorted out a temporary glitch i had where the lane keep assist kept turning off every other drive for a few weeks.

2025 550e AB here with 1100 miles. No issues with AC/vents/fan or pre-conditioning post update. No EV issues.

I live at 11000’/3300m in elevation with temps now consistently below 32f/0c. Car is in garage kept at 40-44f/7c. These conditions alone since I don’t pre-condition when garaged create an ICE over EV need initially but once on the road for about 5-10 mins EV takes over. On my warmer days, the few we had since I bought this, around 60f/13c EV runs from the start.
