I am baffled at how many problems I have had with my 2025 Range Rover P530 since purchasing it in October 2024.
For starters, I ordered it with wood grain interior and it was made with the shiny black instead, which isn't a huge deal but still annoying. Some of the problems in the past three months: windshield wipers work poorly, rattles everywhere (currently have a case open trying to fix the driver's door one), brakes squeak constantly and the pads have worn down 50% in 5k miles, tire sensors telling me the tires are flat when they have over the air stated they need, crash detection going off for no reason on the sides of the vehicle with no one around, rear camera telling me something is there when it is not, door handles not coming out when you are standing next to it.
I have had a Discovery and two Jaguar loaners which all have had similar issues. Is all this common for this brand, or did I get the lemon? After next week it will have been in the shop 3 weeks out of the 3 months I have owned it.

I bought my new L460 in January 2025. Within 1 week, I had issues with the weather app and Alexa not conecting. The dealer had it for 5 days until they told me LR corporate would fix it with a satellite update, which they did 2 weeks later. Then the 2nd row seats would not roll all the way forward to allow the 3rd row access. I took it in where they "adjusted" the rails, which worked for 1 day. I took it back in and then they said it's a known issue and they would order new rails. 1 month later (not being able to use the 3rd row) thye came in and instaled them. In that process, the seat belt latch broker and had to be ordered, so I brought it back in a week later to get fixed while I waited. 2 days ago, my rear camera started glitching and now doesn't work at all, which is alos a common issue I'm told. So, now it's in the shop today again. I typicaly trade for new cars every 2 to 3 years and I've had a ton of different makes/models. I am absolutely baffled at how LR can make a car so nice to drive, yet with so many flaws. It doesn't make sense to me, but what does make sense is to trade this in and never purchase another. BTW, my neighbor told me the other day he had 2 Autobiography models in the past with lots of issues too.

Some thoughts that might help, as some of these sounds familiar to our P530. We got one of the first 23s, so we had content issues as well. Just got an Octa and also didn't come with a couple of options I had ordered. Annoying but not the end of the world, just should be able to get it right. Wipers aren't great =, design is needless complicated to me. Same on the Octa. Part of the problem is the glass itself, and they have had supplier issues with those. It works well enough for us. Door "rattle" - it could be the seals rubbing vs an actual rattle? Ours overall has been tight but for that.

Brakes are ridiculous, I have posted a lot about it. Ours last 10k miles or so and it is the biggest weakness of these things.

For the tire pressures, make sure you have the right load setting selected. In other words, you can have the proper lighter load pressures but the car is set to ask for max load and you'll get the warning.

Crash detection is awful, but others are bad as well. It has scared the **** out of us, I wish we could turn it off. But same for all, not a lemon. Same for the park sensors (seeing the same on the Octa but better on the RR.)

Hope some of this helps.

The seals rubbing is a possibility for the "rattle". It sounds like an old fax machine. It has been in the shop off and on for 30+ days in the 8 months I have owned it. The service department can't fix the "rattle". I read on another forum to try to add liquid silicone to the parts where things bump together and that seemed to help some. When I take the window down about .5" or more, the rattle completely stops.

^ That sounds a lot like the door seals to me. There is a great product called gummi pflege that is the best seal lubricant. The dealer can do it or you can. They can check the alignmentrr of the door and make sure the seal hasn’t ripped but this was also present on our car. The other option is to have them check the window is also seated or aligned properly but my bet is the rubber seal.
