HI everybody,

I live in a hot climate. sometimes in a quick grocery stop I just want to leave the engine running (the A/C).

Is there a conveniant way to lock the vehicle while the engine is running. I remember my pervious BMW lets me lock it if the key is with me that was very handy.

Many thanks in advance.

For all the comments here, there actually is a pretty easy way to do it via the app. You can hear or cool. And, on these models, even do a deep clean mode.

This is actually better than what many other brands include. In fact, many brands like bmw simply offer a ventilate option, on the rover, it actually uses the AC compressor to cool the car and not just pull outside air in and/or the heater to properly heat the car. Yes, it doesn’t work with a double click on the fob, but it’s actually very well implemented and allows you to pick the temp and all

The only irony is that the system works more reliably in the previous generation because the older ones use AT&T for signal and the new ones use T-Mobile, which, frequently has no signal and therefore cannot receive the command lol

Everyone’s going to T - Moble. CANT stand it. My wife’s GLE used to use AT&T as well and then they switched to t- Moble. In Florida AT&T is way better

I may take a little while or be based on having certain options maybe. My car was built in early December and I tool delivery I early January. The software version at delivery was blank and gave no option to download or check for an update. Then about two weeks later I got a pop up that new software was available for download. Since that time, 3.3.2, downloaded on it's own
