Can someone please come up with a workaround for the auto start/stop -- I'll pay!!

Dittio that! Please let me know. I don't have my new one yet, but I was successfully able to disabled it in my '20 Sport. That was simply unplugging something in the back cargo area and works perfect. I do hope someone figures out that work around on the new models.

 

The new one doesn't have a way to disable? No button like on the L405s?

 

I'm waiting for someone to chime in that has taken delivery to confirm the ability to disabled it still exists. However, if that button functions the same way, you have to activate it (thereby deactivating the start/stop system) every time you start the car. With the current button being on the vehicle settings screen you have to navigate to that screen (unless its your default, which for me it is not and don't want it to be). It would have been nice if at a minimum it was a physical button on the center console somewhere - even better would be for it to remember your last setting, like Porsche does and some other manufacturers.

 

OP here - this thread is going south LOL. Just to be clear, I had the auto stop/start deactivated when this happened, so I'd like to hear about that condition only. The auto stop/start should be discussed in a new thread. This thread is just to discuss the shudder. I realize there aren't many of these cars on the ground yet, so this post may be a bit too early.

 

I know for some cars you can turn off start stop permanently using a OBD to change to code. However, I don't know if this is possible for the RR.

 

I was about to ask about whether you can kill auto start stop permanently. I would think yes

 

I am eager to see how long the seatbelt chimes before the warning gives up
