L320 5.0 falling injectors?

Newly acquired 2011 L320. 115k on the clock. Appears to run fine on cold start up. Once the engine warms up it slowly begins to run rough to the point it will stumble (obvious misfires) loss of power and rpm return delay.

I have completed the following for routine maintenance and and in attempt to address the issue.

1. Immediate oil and filter change
2. New PVC
3. Air Filters
4. HPFP both replaced new
5. New plugs
6. New coils
7. Confirmed no vacuum leaks
8. Coolant flush
9. Thermostat
10. Fuel pressure sensor

OBD codes misfire on cyl 2,4,6,8 and 5 and fuel rail pressure low.
She always starts up well as long as she's cold. I suspected coils and plugs might solve my issue but no although plugs were shot and a couple coils were suspect on multimeter. I have an P38 I know inside and out but this is a different animal. My obd is a simple scanner with limited real-time data. Fuel pressure seems erratic but I don't know it should be. jumps form 200, 400ish at idle and settles some then can jump to as much as 2000ish with acceleration.
I am leaning injectors more gut than any empirical evidence.
Any help with comments and suggestions would be appreciated?

get a better tool like a thinkdiag or a mid level topdon with a misfire counter. if these misfires are at load put a pair of MAFs in it they do weird stuff. i got my ass whooped by this once

if you ever get a 0088 on top of the 0087 you can with 1000% certainty confirm the aux shaft jumped time, tensioners like to unwind themselves.

if anything pull the vacuum pump put it in timing position and look at the shaft to rule it out. autologic has a video with the correct orientation

Inclined to blame jumped-time on the HPFP ++ chain system. Whether it has yet 'coded' or never.

Each pump "pulses" - they do not hold steady pressure, and there is no 'accumulator' to smooth the pulses. Because ...each pulse is meant to be timed to just when a given cyclinder's injector needs the uber high pressure produced. Ergo they are synchronized - critically so - to the needs of the injector's delivery cycle

In any case.. by 100 K miles? Or as few as 70 K in some cases..

If a 2011 5.0 AJ Vee has NOT had the original chains, plus the design-flawed guides, & their tensioners renewed?

It is due.

OVER due, actually.

Im sure the timing chain, guides and tensioners are original and I am in the process of procuring the tools and parts however why would it consistently run stellar on startup until warm? Not following a timing jump with nothing but idle when engine warms up. First 5 to 10 min of drive is perfect. Im obviously missing something?

At idle, rumour has it the engine will run off the back of the mere 55 PSIG or so produced by the in-tank primary fuel pump.

You are also in the zone for ANOTHER, diff'rent AJ V8 'age' and thermal environment characteristic:

AJ Vees - as fitted to their host JLR motorcars - have dodgy cooling systems, find themselves 'heat excursion' over-stressed usually more than once during their lifetimes. All too soon, the head gaskets start to leak - especially once warmed up a tad.

Even tiny amounts of coolant getting into the combustion chamber confuses various sensors, so the "brains" act the wrong way....

BT,DT,GTTS 2011 L320 HSE Luxury ... and it was past 110 K miles...

A Teslong 'endoscope' peeking into the cylinders help confirm my issue. My scanner is an iCarsoft LR V3. GAP tool is better, but needs a cellphone as "Mothership" to support the software and display features.

The rest is research, right here on the forum, plus a few You Tube videos documenting where to seek the evidence, how to recognize it, then do the repairs.

To the good:

1) No AJ V8 has yet been PROVEN to transmit an STD.

2) As nearly all-aluminium, an AJ Vee can be recycled to make beer cans. Nothing says the beer has to be worth drinking, either.

If there is a third positive point, I've not yet been convinced.

The Grownups want a Pony. I'd settle for a MOPAR, GMC. or ToyOder V8 as could pass emissions inspection in an L320.
