Key from VIN

Just take your title to dealership and they can cut it no problem.

 

If the dealer can't cut a key for you, they can at least look up the key code, based on the VIN number. Then a locksmith can use the code and cut you a new set of keys.

I just had this done about a week ago...

 

What is the average (USD$) price for this?
I only have one key here and would like another.

 

2 new keys from a key code cost me about $25 at a locksmith. It may be cheaper since you have a key to copy. Go to a locksmith. Most places I went to did not have the blanks.

 

I got two blanks off ebay for $7 bucks, had a locksmith cut them...total cost was under $20
