Read some posts saying that wind noise in 2025 models are fixed. Can anyone confirm it? Thanks !

 

That’s what they said about the 2023 models, and then after that, that’s what they said about the 2024 models, so now in 2025 we’re supposed to believe they got it resolved? It’s not directed at you but if my truck showed up with wind noise and I was supposed to accept that they are just going to some butcher work hack job in the service bay with a bunch of tape and foam on my rig I would be downright pissed… i wouldn’t touch these until I know for sure, and here we are 3 years into production and they likely still haven’t sorted it.

No wind noise in my custom ordered MY25. I picked it up on Sunday and drove ~120 miles on the freeway (good during break in period). I also test drove it BEFORE I signed the paperwork.

 

Good to hear it. I would probably test drive too on the day of pick up. Btw you need to buy insurance starting on the pickup date right?

 

Check with your insurance agent, your policy may cover a new car for a few days as a grace period. Mine does. I do call in to my agent with the VIN prior to taking delivery if it’s an ordered build.

 

My 2025 RR sounds like the drivers side window is open. It has 670 miles on it, and I noticed it when driving the car home from the dealer.

 

No wind noise in my 2025 SE after nearly 9000 miles.

 

I having wind noise issue in 2025 LWD, the noise is coming from the window of the driver & front passenger seat.

 

Has anyone looked into if it's the A pillar making the wind noise? I saw a YouTube video of a Defender fixing wind noise and fixing the A pillar by putting molding tape on the inside. Maybe put some blue painters tape on the edges of the drivers side before your next 70mph+ drive and see if that does anything.

 

I also have a Defender and the A pillar issue is well documented on many Defenders. I had to take mine to the dealer 4 different times before they finally fixed it. I have not heard any A pillar problems with the Range Rover.

 

I confirmed this was the issue with my 2025 swb yesterday by putting packing tap over the plastic molding onto the windshield and the wind noise is mostly gone. BUT, I had my windshield replaced last week and this noise just started after that and only on the passenger side. Mine is definitely that plastic trim piece.

 

I hope your dealer will be able to fix it now that you identified it. Keep us posted and let us know when it is fixed. I cannot believe LR cannot get this A pillar fixed once and for all on their cars.

 

This is going to drive me mental if this is still happening on MY25 RR full size. Is it? Or should I wait for MY26?

 

My25 RR SV has terrible wind noise. I hear it around the driver door and possible windshield. Also my vehicle gets super hot when the sun is shining, guess I'm going to have to get my windows tinted.

This has been posted a ton of times already. Very few, if not, any, owners report improvement.

 

'25 L460. My driver's side wing window was replaced and it solved the main issue. Slight noise yet from the gap around the base of side mirrors, but 99% fixed. Dealer said the glass was delaminated on one edge.

 

I took delivery of a P530 late June, then drove it from Colorado to Montana last week. Lots of time at 80+ mph with 10-30 mph winds.
Noise was never intrusive.
We also drive Porsche, BMW and MB products so I think I've got good points of comparison.
Maybe it's fixed, maybe I got lucky.
