Yes, if you can't reuse the old gaskets, liquid gasket should do. Just don't put on too much so it doesn't get sucked into the engine. You are only sealing against the boost pressure, so not that critical.

Indeed, but if the gaskets are needed because the glowplugs were changed, it will be the inlet manifold gaskets.
