As of yesterday, the Android Auto Instrument Cluster doesn't show as it used to. It does not zoom, so you cannot see details of your route, and the green window showing directions is right in the middle blocking the route display. Anyone else has experienced this? I'm switching to Waze for now.

You are switching to Waze, but what does it have to do with the "Android Auto Instrument Cluster"? You didn't use "Android Auto" for route guidance, you most probably used Google Maps and possibly it's a Google Maps app glitch and not "Android Auto"?
This somehow better reflects the nature of your issue. Now check if your Google Maps was recently updated.
