My '23 RR Auto has "off assembly" status which is usually the final step before it goes to port to be shipped to the US since June 7th.

This was dated June 23rd.....

I received word back that the New Range Rover’s are built but have not left the production factory yet as they are waiting on a part/semiconductor that controls the ‘powered gesture tailgate’ feature.

They are considering shipping vehicles without this feature and then having us add the part when they become available, but a final decision hasn’t been made as of yet by JLR.

Curious - what was your build date?

Is powered gesture tailgate where you wave your foot under the trunk and it opens? Personally, I feel like thats overrated.

Latest news from Land Rover copy/pasted 7/12/'22;

The New Range Rover is still showing at port in the UK. There was a national conference call yesterday on this. Apparently there is some sort of logistic/port capacity issue in Europe that is slowing down vehicles being loaded onto ships in the UK. We are waiting to hear the exact details of the logistic issue at the port overseas and the timing to resolve.

I literally just got a note from the sales person that the Defender was loaded on a boat yesterday in Belgium & this morning it's in Southampton UK (probably loading more Land Rovers). So, expect at least some vehicles to be on their way towards Baltimore, soon.

I figured that from your previous message stating to expect boat soon. I found it difficult to pinpoint the exact location of “Morning Peace” myself so am relying on dealer…..if you hear any more on location please share?
I am in Buffalo NY, what part of the country are you in?

I'm in NH, few hundred miles east of you.
The boat is currently in Germany, "at anchor" - probably collecting a few German cars also.When I was given the boat name 6 days ago, the ETA to Baltimore was 7/31. Now you're getting 8/4.
Looks like it's still being loaded, based on the date slip and current status/location.

It's an enormous ship, I found this pic online

Duhh, I re-read prior message and just got "we're literally in the same boat then".....kinda funny saying. My good friends have a summer home in Wolfeboro NH on the lake. Well I believe that everything happens for a reason (makes daily problems seem less drastic) so not the end of the world that it's takin its time gettin here
