Yesterday I drove around quite a bit, and as I got home the engine fired up. I realized the battery was fully drained. Today I looked at the trip logs - a total of 38 miles.
Temperature was hovering around 34F.

In warmer weather, I get ~50 miles.

You're lucky if you live where 34F is considered cold. :)

We sometimes have it under 0F, an then range drops to 50% of what I have at summer. So 25-30 miles of range. It's not just battery heating, it's more about battery performance in different temperatures. You can google it. Speed of chemical reaction is the key.

In short - the warmer it is the bigger is your car range (unless it's extremely hot) but your battery lifetime drops fast. In cold it's the opposite. Performance drops, but battery health preserves better.
