The camera should automatically turn off when you switch from R to D and hit a specific speed. It’s a bit higher than what I have seen in Audis and Porsches.

 

So mine has not been doing that. I notice I will be driving down the road going 30+ MPH and then I look down and it still shows the cameras. I will need to try to get a video.

 

You can always hit the home button on the screen or the X on the camera screen to turn off the cameras if they do not turn off when you drive forward.

 

Yes but that should not be necessary. The car should automatically shut off the camera, mine does at a fairly low speed. @makris0000 you should take your RR to the dealer- something is definitely wrong

 

If you manually turn on the camera's by pressing the Camera button, and not having them come on automatically when shifting, they will continue to stay on. They started doing that years ago, it's a nice feature to have honestly.

If the cameras stay on after normal shifting and not by pressing the button, that's not normal.

and yes when shifting into reverse and it shows the rear view camera and back to drive, it keeps the rear view till a certain speed is reached, like the others have said.
