I recently replaced oem battery terminals with aftermarkets. The positive side cable terminal with the pyrotechnic attachment has been removed and has triggered the ABS warning lamp. Must this attachment be connected? Is there a simple disable?

I believe the pyrotechnic device serves purely a safety role and shouldn't set any lights off for the ABS system. It either allows current to pass or it doesn't (if it's been ignited). Do you have a code reader? What codes are the ABS computer reporting?
Yes, the pyrotechnic attachment separates the main starter cable in the event of a crash as a safety device. When i disconnected it, the Airbag SRS red warning light illuminated on dash. I don't yet have a code reader, but will soon. I think by re-attaching it to the yellow multi plug at pos cable, then resetting warning lamp, it'll be fine.
