The rims are the 20" idk what size tires to get the stocks are 255/50/20 and suspension is stock

Width depends on how big of wheel spacers you want to put on. I have 305/55/20's which are 33's with a 2" Johnson rod lift. Anything bigger than 33" and you'll have to trim the fenders but it would look great.

Just to clarify - did you use spacers as well or just the johnson rods?

I've run 275/55R20s on my supercharged RRs (2007, 2010). Some trimming/molding of the plastic fender flares, but they clear. Really liked the size.

By "big" are you asking for tall, wide, or both? We used a wider than stock tire on our replacements. (275 45 20)

Stock size is 30" dia, 10.04" wide, 5.02" sidewall...the tires we purchased are very close at 29.7" dia, 10.83" wide, 4.87" sidewall.

Our goal was wider street tires...so we increased by almost an inch without any other modifications, while keeping overall diameter and sidewall height similar to OEM specifications.

If you're looking to put off road tires on, I'd follow the route of jjRRHSE above (with the Johnson rods).

Looking great. Thanks for posting the pics. Maybe I'll have to look into lifting one of these bad boys down the road. For now, mine is an urban rig so I can't justify the lift. Wish I could get some aggressive aftermarket bumpers/brush guards for my SC so people wouldn't be as likely to ding up my bumpers.

Sorry to revive an old thread but just about to change out the tires on my S/C - I want to go with the 305/55/20's and johnson rods - does anyone know if the tires will fit the standard S/C wheels or am I going to need spacers (in which case, I think I may need to go with a smaller all-terrain tire and not bother with the rods)

I'm rolling on Redbourne 20" X 9.5 with 275/55/20 Nitto Terra Grappler 2's with 2" rod lift. Used a heat gun and rolled the fender wells just a bit to make room and avoid any rubbing. Works really good. I was on 305/40/22's before this with no issues. The Nitto's are pretty beefy, so the lift and fender well rolling was needed, but pretty simple and cheap. Next up, custom brush guard with LED's.

For those that are upgrading to the larger tires with the Johnson lift, can you fit the larger new spare tire in the regular spare tire holder area.
