My rover was running fine yesterday but today I tried to start it and all I got when I put the key in was a beep and an error came up GEARBOX FAULT and I think ABS FAULT came up also. Turned the key and nothing but clicking noises.....anyone have any ideas?

Mmm I'll see when I get back to my car, I had to get a ride because she wouldn't start.
Ahhh and it also said TRACTION FAULT if that matters...do those all show up because of low voltage?

Anyone else have any other ideas?

Just an update for anyone in the future with this problem.
Yes it was a flat battery and with a jump it fired right up.

That's the easy part. It's been noted many times. The not so easy part is finding WHY you have a dead battery. Alternator, failed ground, dirty cables, BeCM waking up... Take it as a sign of things to come unless you left your headlights on or something similar.

My P38 gets through batteries every 2 to 3 years and has done since new. I now expect to replace the battery every other year - buy one with a three year warranty.
