Hi My wipers on my P38 DSE 2000 suddenly decided to park on the middle of the windshield. Everything works but the synch is someway interrupted. Any Ideas?

the wiper function is controlled by the BECM, you need to connect a land rover scanner and inquire.

Although the BeCM only takes it's information from the park contact in the wiper motor. I'd suspect a faulty park switch in the motor.

mine did just this....parked vertical.....(nobody above has recently done this....i can tell from relpies....and i respectfully already asked richard this and he has been great to me !!!)

but this is a solution

with a little delicate wangling...you can unbolt the bottom of that plastic cover that covers the wiper motor
enough without taking all the stuff off......
and get in there with a wrench on that motor pivot bolt and loosen the bolt and re position the wipers...i may take a few times....but
its alot easier than taking off all the trim....and forget messing with the becm.....and this is so do-able.....
