[RR Convert]

on my MY17 RRS HSE Dynamic, the stalks for the wiper controls and headlight controls behind the paddle shifters do not seem to light up at night. Is that common or just a setting on mine? It makes controlling the washers and lights somewhat more difficult at night with the lettering on those stalks not visible. Just trying to determine if that is a defect that I should take to dealer or if that is just the way it is.

I have a 2016 HSE RR Sport and just noticed mine don’t light up either. Did you ever figure out if that’s just the way they are?

Well, thanks for the reply. But it’s almost impossible to believe that a car that cost close to a hundred grand would have such a flaw. Perhaps I’ll call the dealer tomorrow, see if they pick up the phone...

Why do you need to even see it. Left side is turn right side is wiper. Move lever up and it turns on wipers. Why would you even need to see it? Ive never even thought about having a lit up lever before.

uh. I don't think any of the JLR stalks light up. Trying to think about my other cars, not sure they light up either. I also wondered about this when I first got my '14, and just I forgot if I end up asking dealer or this forum. But conclusion was that's how it is.
