I just bought s new set of 20s for off-road use but they came with no sensors. I also got a set of LR3 18s for the cost of new sensors... Are they compatible? My guess is not but I figured I would try...

So far... the answer is yes. Just got new wheels/tires installed, using the 06-09 TPMS sensors from an LR3. They are both the same PN - Siemens. However, 2005 wont work.. may be usefull for anyone who tries to run 18" LR3 wheels on their full size.

If the frequency matches they will work. The later units are 433mhz, earlier ones are 315.
