Hello,

I have a 2005 Vogue with the Harman Kardon system. The cable of the high range speakers on the right front (passenger side) is broken. The dealer told me that there are two cables running from the amplifier to the speakers in the doors (high range and low range). The high end is broken. Does anybody know where the cables are located in the car? I need to find the problem, but without any knowledge about the location of the cables I will need to take apart the whole interior.

I believe the wiring diagram in the technical documentation (Range) does not help me, because it relates to pre 2005 models and only shows the logical diagram, but not which interior panels to remove.

Any help would be more than appreciated.

If you bought it from a dealer and it came with a warranty, I would ask him to repair it.

If you don't ask............you won't get.

@ garioch43 Unfortunately it did not come with a warranty. I had the car checked before I bought it and got it for a good price due to some issues that needed fixing. I have had all major repairs done and this is the only thing left on the list. I think the dealer will charge a lot of time for investigating where the cable is broken, however if I know where the cable runs, I could do it myself.

Anybody any ideas where the cable runs?

Please, anybody that can help me? I really do not want to waste a lot of money on just fixing a broken wire.
