Hi, I am having a whistling noise when going at speeds above 70 mph. Model is a SC 2011. Anyone knows if this is something particular to my car or maybe a common defect in that model? if so, any thoughts regarding how to solve it? thx

Is it continuous above 70 mph? Or does it start and stop seemingly randomly? Can you identify where it is coming from?
start by taping up the lower windshield seal... common problem. If that ends up being your remedy remove tape, black rtv under the seal.
morning, yes it starts at 70 mph, and increases with speed, it is not random. Seems to come from the drivers windshild but when you ask the passeneger it is also heard on their side. Thanks

Tape up the lower seal where it meets the windshield and let us know... Tape the whole length of it.
Its the front plastic valance that attaches to front windscreen, the bit that wiper come through. Bonding from the windscreen loosens over time causing whistling at high speeds. Need to replace it, 24hr before you can use once replaced as new bond needs to cure. Mine was the same, tried repair but didnt last
