Hi!

does anyone know which ecms are located under the console of a 2006 SC.

Dealer mentioned it is common for drinks to get spilled in the console and cause shorts. I am just wondering which modules other than airbag is under there. The rover I picked up had a leaky sunroof and I am wondering if this could be my fuel / spark problem I'm trying to resolve in another link.

thanks in advance!

The immobilizer aka PATS module (passive anti theft) is attached to the side of the gear shift base under the console. The BCU is under the passenger seat.

Immobilizer is mainly the starter. Might also do something with spark but not sure.

The yaw sensor would not affect spark or gas would it?

i assume that is only for traction and brake system.

Just a follow up but I forgot about the airbag module under the park brake which seems might be the issue.

i totally forgot that that would control fuel and spark in the event of an accident.
