Hi,

I want to customize (or if some want to say, pimp) out my 2013 Black Range Rover Sport .
These are all the things I want to do:
-paint all letters and grills black
-black out my rims
-black out my taillights
-tint my windows (not super dark, but darker than the factory)

I know, tinting taillights is not legal. I may or may not do this.
Have any of you done this before? If so, can I see pictures?
Also, does anyone know of places in the Chicagoland area that will do all of this for a reasonable cost?
I contacted my local Land Rover dealer, they quoted me $10,000. Yes, that's right.

Thank you.

I used this for my letters, grill, rear hatch trim and even my tail pipes.
I have also used it on my 4runner rims.

Look closely... $5.98 each
Plus one can of esthetically questionable PlastiDip also gets you a blacked out grill and is removable when your tastes change. :)

Still, I do not find plastidip good enough to give a proper effect on a $80000 vehicle.
I would do it this way: buy the lettering, swap the rear lights for blackened ones, powdercoat the grille and the rims, find a specialist garage to tint the windows. This won't be cheap, for sure, but will be on par with the truck in terms of quality.
One thing that would lower the costs is that the stock rear lights will sell immediately on ebay for like $300-400.

Many members here have had positive dealings with Pimp My Ride. Let's not slight a company with a skewed 5 year old post from another site. It's just plain tacky and word of mouth. Let's keep postings first hand and above board.
