Where does this pipe connect

I changed the spark plugs today and when I took the acoustic cover off I noticed the vacuum pipe in the picture not connected to anything.. is it meant to be like this? it seems that the other end its supposed to connect to is missing I've had a good look around and cant seem to find where it should go.

not to get off subject but how was changing the spark plugs? How long did it take?

It took me about an hour .. It was prettry straight forward to do remove the plastic surrounds from the top of engine and you'll have access to the ignition leads which are held in place by 2 x 10mm nuts per cable.. Remove those and get the plugs out.

That's a vent hose for your front differential. It does not attach to anything. ibis1 ;)
