Howdy! I just picked up a 16 RRS L494 and I was wondering where everyone keeps their cellphones? Any recommendations on a holder for larger phones which has worked well in your L494?

Pictures and/or model numbers and/or links would be great?

Thanks in advance

I just toss it in the cup holders between the first two seats. If I have drinks I put it in the arm rest. I don’t have a cooler but bought the shelf which wedges in the arm holder.

Proclip - the one on the trim (not the vent). Keeps the cup holder free and get's a perfect angle/reach. A few others on here have rigged up a charger in the cup holder, which is pretty nice too.

Ive tried every configuration I can think of and have been most happy with the Pitaka carbon phone holder and case(the case has the magnet built in). It holds my iPhone XS MAX without any issues.

This is what I'm doing as well. It clips on the passenger side of the center console trim. Works great for me...keeps the cup holders free. I have the charging attachment piece (you need both a mounting piece and a phone attachment piece).

The ProClip trim mount is unfortunately the best option, but has drawbacks. If you mount on the driver's side and are tall, it will likely jam into your knee when driving sometimes. It can also leave permanent markings on the trim, and I've found it to cause a lot of additional noise while driving from the plastic creaking/bending.

I have a 2017 so either right behind the shift lever or right in front of the shift lever under the center stack.

I use the iOttie Easy One Touch 4 and have it mounted on the inner plastic wall inside the driver footwell. The mount can pivot to a 90 degree angle where it sits pretty flush against that wall away from the knee. Some pictures below of how it’s mounted.

I really liked this setup and did it as well but at 6’2 I couldn’t stop my knee from hitting it ?. Reverted back to the Pitika
