White/Black. s/c or non. Black/brown

To let you guys know. I want the brown interior, BUT black exterior. I'd rather have it s/c as well. Being CPO is essential, so both check out. What do you guys think about the prices?

Thanks for the replies! I know, deep down inside, I've been telling myself, am I selling myself short by getting a black/black s/c? This was the black/tan s/c I almost pulled the trigger on, but was too slow unfortunately.. :(

That's a first I've ever heard that, about the reimbursement! I have seen a few black/tan s/c's on the East coast!

Do you "have" to get it there? I actually found the exact 1 that I wanted on eBay! There are SO many to choose from (all from reputable dealers. I live in Memphis, but found the 1 I wanted in Dallas @ Park Place Porsche. I flew there for $350 (which they reimbursed me for) was in the dealership for about 40 mins, & was on my way home with the RRS that I wanted to the tee pretty much.. Just a thought...

I've always been reluctant to go through ebay for vehicles, however, i'll keep it in mind. Does park place move many CPO RRS's? That's a top tier requirement for me!

likewise. for weather And those areas housing high end vehicles

They sure do! You have to think about it; they only sell trade ins, as most high end dealers do, so they don't go out looking for the vehicles; it's ppl coming in wanting a higher end car than what they have mostly, e.x. Panorama; so, whatever the car is that's being traded is more than not gonna be in immaculate condition with low mileage, more than likely still with factory warranty etc... & personally, I think Texas & Florida are the better places to by...

Quite honestly, i've seen very little 494's roaming around, even in Glorious Bellevue. Haha. That's the very reason why I've become even more aggressive in trying to snag me my 320 sooner rather than later.

1. "Good" ones are few and far between
2. They're becoming more rare
3. They're at least retaining they values, if not getting more expensive!

As far as the black/tan combo, denim color from jean's transfers even to that? I could see with the much lighter interior of beige would adhere to the denim bleeding off more profoundly, but with the darker tan? It's tough because the first and last time I personally saw a black/tan combo was the one that I "let go".

Don't get me wrong, black/black is elegant and more would argue, timeless. However, to me, black/tan is a wonderful combination of eye-appealing contrast! Nonetheless, both color combos can't be BEAT!!

The reason I asked is my local dealer had me test out one of their '12 model SRT8's. Great looking rig, don't get me wrong, but as soon as mentioned I was on the market for a RRS, they started down playing it and building up the JGC. Go figure.:naughty: My first impressions,

1. Interior felt CHEAP. No way around it. I don't care if it had similar amenities the RRS i.e. heated steering, heated seats, HID bixenons, etc

2. The ride was very "sporty", not entirely firm, but solid; much more car like. It wasn't as forgiving to road impurities as the RRS's i've driven.

3. Yes, it was very NOISY.

4. On paper, it's faster than even the RRS s/c; did it FEEL faster? Not even close

5. Brakes were VERY competent even after a few freeway halts

6. The infotainment system/sound system was, well, Jeep. My friend's Mazda CX5 GT had a better system than it. If I'm paying anywhere north of 40k for a vehicle, that sound system better please me! Nonetheless, the sluggish RRS non-HDD system is no champ either lol

7. When I walked away, locked the truck and looked back, I didn't receive anywhere NEAR the satisfaction of knowing that I just stepped out of my range rover.
