Hi,

I have recently sold my '96 P38 4.6HSE which I loved and I have to say I miss. I am trying to decide what to buy in the Autumn, the options are:

A late p38 Vogue 4.6 and gas convert it.
An early L322 4.4 and convert.
A Disco 3 4.4 and guess what!
A D3 2.7 TD.

I definitely prefer the Rangie option over a Disco and would ultimately aspire to a TDV8; my deliberation is would it better to go for a late model P38, where all the teething problems 'should' have been ironed out or an early example of an L322 with its own issues, although these should have been resolved by now.

I would welcome your thoughts.

The government has reintroduced the fuel price escalator so lpg is the way forward.

A p38 will be easier and cheaper to maintain, and less likely to have stupid things break, than an early l322.
